I approach therapy as an opportunity to explore and clarify what direction you want your life to take and to help you build the capacity to get where you want to go. I appreciate the ways that each person brings a rich history along with their current challenges and I have found that taking the time to understand that history - its repetitions, its joys and sorrows, and, especially, its surprises - can help us to find the best path forward. I work with adults and integrate multiple treatment approaches and interventions to tailor treatment to the individual in front of me. I offer comprehensive psychotherapy and psychological testing. I focus on attentive listening and personalized care to help you define and meet your treatment goals. I am an experienced clinician and former behavioral healthcare executive. I earned my Ph.D. from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and am a licensed psychologist in the state of Georgia. I completed my pre-doctoral training in health service psychology at the Atlanta VA with concentrations in primary care mental health integration, sleep psychology, and neuropsychological assessment. I also have special clinical training and interest in Lacanian psychoanalysis, dialectical behavioral therapy, and existential-phenomenological approaches to therapy.
