Introduction

Hello! My name is Shannon Minnick and I am a Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania and the owner of Shannon Minnick Counseling. ( Pennsylvania License# is PC009484) I provide counseling services for adolescents and young adults. Having graduated from Seton Hall University with a Master of Arts degree in Counseling, in 2005, I now have over 19 years of experience as a therapist. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in some of the Lehigh Valley's most prominent community agencies and have been a visiting counselor in many schools. I am currently happy to be offering services privately in my new location, Doylestown-Bucks County. I have had special training in Functional Family Therapy, Multi-Systemic Family Therapy, Family Trauma Therapy, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT Skills, CBT approaches, Mindfulness Techniques, and treatments for Depression, Anxiety, Grief and more. I use an integrative, holistic, and strengths based approach and provide support and practical feedback to help my clients effectively address personal life challenges and achieve self growth. I know it's scary to meet with a perfect stranger to talk about personal issues. It takes courage. I understand that you or your adolescent/young adult are stepping out of your comfort zone to come meet with me and I work hard to provide clients a welcoming, non-judgmental, safe space where they feel comfortable and respected. I look forward to getting to know you and providing you or your adolescent with the emotional support you are searching for. Shannon Minnick, MA, LPC verified by GoodTherapy.org
