Hi, I'm Shannon!(She/Her) I’ve been working in the mental health field since 2014 and have a range of training and experience focusing on treating teens, adults, and families with anxiety and depression, adjustment and trauma, and high relational conflict. I enjoy working with clients who are interested in working collaboratively with me as a team. I also teach parenting classes and enjoy facilitating parents and teens to improve their relationships and communication. I've moved across the country myself and love supporting folks adjusting to new environments, helping them in building confidence and community after any life transition. My approach combines elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative, and Existential to find what works best for each person, couple, or family. I maintain a trauma-informed and social justice lens in all of my therapeutic work. I strive to discover your strengths and teach you how to use them to strengthen your relationships. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, reading, writing, art, and spending time with my two cats and dog. I have spent time living abroad, volunteering with the homeless in Europe, teaching English in Central America, and conducting mental health research on anxiety and depression in South East Asia.
