Greetings, my name is ShaQuetta Little-Young. I’m a mental health therapist, who is passionate and committed to assisting members of the BIPOC community as they navigate through difficult life experiences such as anxiety/stress, emerging adulthood, grief, intimate partner violence, mood disorders, racial injustice, separation and divorce, spirituality, traumatic life experiences, and vocational distress. My goal is educate, elevate, and empower individuals to identify and process emotions that have led to emotional dysregulation and move into a space of emotional stabilization. My work focuses on targeting ineffective behaviors, habits, and beliefs that are no longer useful in an individual’s life and identify and implement healthy behaviors, cognitions, and habits that will lead to a positive shift in mindset, behaviors, and beliefs. I believe in a collaborative approach to assisting patients in achieving their goals. Most importantly, l believe that every patient innately possesses the tools that they require to be their authentic selves.
