My life has been an education, both in and out of the classroom. My life experiences give me insight into family dynamics, co-dependency, substance abuse, and addiction, as well as depression, anxiety, and trauma. While studying for my bachelor’s degree in sociology, I found myself stuck and without direction. This is when I encountered my first therapy experience with a clinical social worker. He not only helped me to grow personally, but he also inspired the direction my life would take from that point forward. The path hasn’t been straight but it’s brought me to this place where I can help others who feel stuck and are struggling to find direction. work with young, middle-aged, and older adults experiencing transitional and relational difficulties as well as trauma-related issues. My approach will be individualized to meet your needs. I use cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, inner-child work, acceptance and commitment, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and EMDR therapies.
