I received my Bachelors and Masters in Social Work from Kean University (Union, NJ) and am currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in NJ and a Licensed Master Social Worker in NY. I have been in the Social Work field for 10+ years and have extensive experience working with those effected by homelessness, incarceration, severe and persistent mental illness and substance abuse. I have a experience providing mental health services and crisis intervention to the community and within a private practice setting. I specialize in the areas of anxiety, depression, substance abuse, trauma, self harm and other various mental health disorders. I have experience working with adolescents, adults, families and couples and utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Solution-focused, Client Centered and Motivational techniques as well as Family Systems, Couples Counseling and Group Therapy. Prior to opening my own practice I worked as the Clinical Coordinator of Transit Outreach for BRC in New York, as the Director of Community Support Services in Newark, NJ and as a Program Manager at the Housing, Health and Human Services Center in Hackensack, NJ. Most recently I was a contracted clinician with PhG Services LLC. I especially enjoy sharing my knowledge, skills and experiences with others and will be working with Rutgers University as a field liaison and offsite supervisor for interns pursing an education/career in Social Work. I am SIFI certified and hold my Clinical Supervisor Certificate, which allows me to supervise Social Work interns and provide clinical supervision to those LSW's seeking their LCSW hours.
