Introduction

I graduated with my Masters of Education (M.Ed) in Counseling Psychology from Temple University in 2019 and am currently a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA #MC 61008113) practicing under supervision. I am an open and proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and have provided individual counseling and case management to clients since 2019. I specialize in working with COVID conscious folks, LGBTQ+ populations, particularly queer and non-binary adolescents/young adults as well as providing gender affirming care. I use a non-pathologizing lens and anti-oppressive frameworks to conceptualize symptomology of my clients while acknowledging and centering how systems of oppression and experiences of marginalization impact my client’s experiences of the world. I believe actively addressing systems that cause harm is a pinnacle part of mental health care and center mutual aid and harm reduction practices inside and outside of therapeutic settings. This frameworks includes acknowledging the reality of the ongoing pandemic and continuing to center disability justice, which includes continuing to take and advocate for COVID precautions in both my practice and personal life. I have experience working with a wide range of individuals and mental health concerns. I believe in building a foundation of trust with my clients first and foremost and I encourage the use of artistic expression, movement and humor in sessions.
