Since 2006, I have been helping adults address a wide variety of concerns, including depression, anxiety, substance use issues, self-esteem, and trauma. The relationship you have with a counselor is one of the most unique relationships you will ever have. I believe in making this a collaborative relationship where we work together to help you make the changes you want to make in your life. I also believe in bringing creativity and the arts into sessions to help you look at your struggles and obstacles in a different way. I see myself as a guide through the process of change. I believe that you are the expert on you, and sometimes having an outside observer can help you identify patterns and projections. I also believe that our past informs our present and making connections between past and present can help us to do things differently.
