She holds a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is a current doctoral student in Clinical Counseling: Teaching and Supervision at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN. Shelly is a Certified Clinical Partner Specialist through the Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists (APSATS). In addition to earning her postgraduate degree, she has pursued continuing education and training in a variety of counseling issues and modalities, and she works under the American Counseling Association’s code of ethics.
