Service has been ingrained in my family heritage for generations. Becoming a therapist has given me the opportunity to continue this path. I see my role in the treatment process as being present with my clients, supporting, educating, and sometimes challenging them objectively in the midst of their own growth processes, development of self-awareness, and life experiences. I consider this role a privilege. I often employ a variety of therapeutic modalities with my clients depending upon each client's individual needs and goals. These modalities primarily include CBT, psychodynamic, family systems, person-centered, and solution-focused. I am trained in and implement the more specialized treatment modality of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as well. My professional interests include the treatment of trauma, loss, and life change.
