Service has been ingrained in my family heritage for generations. Becoming a therapist has given me the opportunity to continue this path. I see my role in the treatment process as being present with my clients, supporting, educating, and sometimes challenging them objectively in the midst of their own growth processes, self-awareness development, and life experiences. I consider this role a privilege. I often employ a variety of therapeutic modalities with my clients depending upon each client's individual needs and goals. These modalities primarily include CBT, play, psychodynamic, family systems, person-centered, and solution-focused. I am trained in and implement the more specialized treatment modality of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as well. My professional interests include the treatment of trauma, loss, and life change.
