It is my experience that the best results come when a therapist and client work as a team, focusing on specific goals. It is the therapeutic alliance that yields healing and movement towards accomplishing those goals. It is essential that you find a psychotherapist with whom you feel comfortable discussing the important details of your life. I have been working in the field of clinical social work for over 35 years. Working in both clinic and private practice settings, I have worked with children, adolescents and adults, utilizing reality-oriented, psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and solution focused brief therapy, treatment approaches. I have extensive experience in treating the following: Acute Stress Disorder, Adjustment Disorders, Anger Management, Anxiety/Panic Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Bereavement, Depression, Divorce, Domestic Violence, Impulse Control Disorder, LBGTQ+ issues, and PTSD. I am WPATH certified. I am currently offering TeleHealth appointments for individuals over the age of 18.
