My practice is rooted in a strengths-based, anti-racist, and womanist framework to assist people in their re-remembering of their purpose. Audre Lorde stated, “We have been raised to fear the yes within ourselves…” and I believe that my professional purpose is to assist people to explore, reconnect with and integrate new approaches to diminish self-doubt, isolation, excessive worry by tapping into their inner “yes.” I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families seeking assistance with coping with related with depression, anxiety, trauma, identity, substance use, adjustment, and cultural identity by using humanistic and post-modern modalities and interventions.
