Introduction

Hello! I am a clinical practicum student pursuing her Master of Social Work at Fort Hays State University. I have worked in diverse social work roles including child welfare, case management, child in-patient psychiatric treatment, and independent living services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). I work with all ages but especially enjoy helping teens and young adults. Throughout my academic and occupational path, I have found a deep interest in supporting clients diagnosed with personality disorders utilizing a Dialectical Behavior Therapy approach and am looking forward to furthering my knowledge in this realm. I hail from a small town in Western Kansas and encompass many of these values in my clinical practice. I strive to be unbiased, empathetic, and understanding with everyone I encounter. I am accepting new clients and referrals at Oasis Counseling in Salina, where I offer affordable, cash pay, sliding-scale, telehealth, or in-person therapy for uninsured clients.
