I’m passionate about serving as a resource to people, couples, and families as you sort through life’s challenges. We all have inner sources of resiliency and personal strengths; when we lose sight of them, it makes it difficult to be productive and feel loved. It makes authentic and positive relationships seem elusive. I am passionate about helping people discover those sources of resiliency and strength. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Associate Marriage Therapist (LAMFT), I help my clients identify triggers that affect their happiness and life satisfaction. Together with my clients, we identify strengths, implement coping skills, and increase awareness to overcome present life challenges. I specialize in Couples and Relationship Therapy. I am passionate about helping my clients create a secure and satisfying connection with their loved ones. I also help individual clients reduce their mental health symptoms like depression, anxiety, insomnia, mood swings, attention deficits, and maladaptive personality habits. I tailor my therapeutic style and intervention to my clients’ cultures, values and life circumstances. My techniques include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Mindfulness. In EFT, I work to identify patterns and emotions in relationships and create safe and satisfying connections. I have a BA in Social Work and an MA in Sociology of Organizations from Beer Sheva University in Israel. In 2006, I graduated from Ottawa University with a Master of Professional Counselling (MAPC) with specialization in marriage and family therapy. I am a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the Arizona Center for Emotionally Focused Therapy. And I am a member of the International Center of Emotionally Focused therapy. I speak English and Hebrew and have extensive experience working with culturally diverse groups, people dealing with cultural transitions.
