Introduction

Hi! I’m Siobhan. This is a space where you can be fully, unapologetically you. I help you begin to understand what is at the root of the challenges you face and the patterns that you keep repeating. If something has been keeping you from that—anxiety or depression, burn out or trauma—and does not seem to be improving, you might be questioning if that kind of life is really possible. DOES ANY OF THIS SOUND FAMILIAR? You often feel overwhelmed or confused by your emotions. You feel everything, but you can never seem to figure out the right way to express those feelings. Your anger scares you. It seems like you always go from 0 to 100 real quick. You can’t seem to find any mode in between, so you shut down or hold everything in to keep the peace. You just do not know how to say “NO!” No matter how badly you need or want to, you over-commit, over-work, over-sacrifice, over-give, until you feel like a shell of yourself. You are feeling disconnected from you, “Who am I?” feels like a calculus equation. You have no idea what you want out of life, what brings you joy, or even how to figure it out. You are struggling with feeling lonely, misunderstood, or like you don’t belong. You can’t relate to the people in your life, but you tolerate them. Some days having a fulfilling relationship seems so impossible, that you’d rather just avoid your friends and family altogether. THERAPY CAN HELP YOU: Stop having anger outbursts and increase your understanding of your emotions. Learn to effectively communicate your feelings so that you can get more of your needs and desires fulfilled. Identify healthy personal boundaries and learn to enforce them with confidence. Improve satisfaction and reduce feelings of loneliness within your relationships. Be able to confidently define yourself for yourself and to shamelessly live and love the way you desire. SPECIALIZING IN: EMDR trauma therapy Imagine waking up without a plague of overwhelming emotions or pain from the past. Instead, you are looking forward to your day and feeling confident in reaching your goals. EMDR can offer you this freedom. HIGH FUNCTIONING ANXIETY & DEPRESSION Anxiety and depression can cast a heavy cloud over your daily life, making every step feel like a struggle. We'll explore the roots of your anxiety and depression, develop effective coping strategies, and work together to rediscover a sense of hope and joy. You don't have to face these challenges alone – I'm here to support you on your journey towards emotional well-being and a more fulfilling life. Individual and couples therapy The consequences of relational trauma, whether in childhood or adulthood, can extend into many different areas of life. Primarily, it affects relationships, both romantic and platonic. People might struggle to trust that new friends or partners will not hurt them and may push them away to avoid getting hurt, contributing to greater loneliness and social isolation. Even if they are in a relationship, people with relational trauma can struggle with intense loneliness and emptiness. Working together is simple! Schedule a free, no-obligation consultation to decide if I’m a good fit for you. If we are, great! We’ll schedule your first appointment and begin mapping out a path to your goals. If not, no problem! I’ll refer you to another skilled therapist in my network who can help.
