Sloan Post

LCSW, PMH-C Westchester Parent & Child Therapy
Specialties: Anxiety, Trauma, Perfectionism, Family Conflict, Parenting,

Introduction

I am a compassionate and dedicated therapist that recognizes each person enters therapy as a unique individual with their own upbringing and life experiences. However, none of us exist in a vacuum—we are all shaped by the relationships, families, and environments that surround us. Our past influences our present, and through therapy, we can explore these connections, gain insight, and create a path toward healing and growth. By understanding how our family of origin and broader systems impact us, we can break unhelpful patterns, foster meaningful change, and build a future that aligns with our values and emotional well-being. My therapeutic approach is integrative, combining cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and an attachment-focused perspective to create a personalized path toward healing and growth.
