Well done on taking the first step in a journey toward wellness. The most important aspect of therapy is finding a person who makes you feel safe and heard. I want to help you discover strengths and skills to empower you on a daily basis. I enjoy working with and understanding folx from their perspective and encouraging them to grow and explore who they are and wish to develop into. I provide a safe space and allow you to explore and find your ground so that you let your own light in. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, licensed in California and Washington states. I graduated with my Master’s degree in Social Work in 2012 and have been working with children, youth, families and individuals before then and since. I have training and experience in working in the realms of trauma, attachment disruptions, adoption, grief and loss, sexuality, and LGBTQ+ persons through identity explorations, coming out and transitions. I have completed over 200 hours on attachment and foster/adoption care; I have completed Training on Adoption Compentency (TAC) through the CASE foundation. I am Level I Dyadic Development Psychotherapy (DDP) trained. I have worked in multiple settings including crisis work in the hospital ER, supporting individuals and families in the non-profit world, training foster families in county work and support LGBTQ persons in a volunteer setting. Persons know me as a Momma of my goldendoodle, lover of the ocean, humorous and an avid learner.
