Welcome! I am so glad that you made it here. Whether you are here to work through one specific challenge that is leaving you feeling conflicted or longer-term internal battles, I consider it an honor to walk alongside you in your journey. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree from Washington University in St. Louis - Brown School of Social Work. I am a trained EMDR Therapist and specialize in helping people recover from eating disorders, body image issues, trauma, attachment disorders, anxiety and depression. Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to serve in a variety of roles, including as a clinician in community mental healthcare to Primary Therapist at residential and day treatment (PHP/IOP), and Assistant Clinical Director at a local treatment center specialized in the treatment of eating disorders. I utilize an eclectic approach and draw on a variety of theories and modalities in working with clients to best meet individual needs. I view therapy as a collaborative process, where you are the leader of your treatment, as you are the expert of your own life. My therapeutic approach is rooted in compassion-focused, person-centered, and strength’s-based perspectives. I firmly believe that each individual has the inner strength and power to heal fully, and my role is to help empower you in that process. I utilize a Health at Every Size (HAES) framework which embraces and values all bodies, viewing bodies as something to honor and respect. I aim to create a safe space for all, which means everyone is welcome here, no matter race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, or ability.
