Introduction

I am a licensed psychologist in Oregon and Washington. I primarily work with children, adolescents, and families and also have experience working with young adults. Before coming to Mangata, I worked in medical hospitals, treating children, adolescents, and families in managing and coping with pediatric health conditions and traumas. It is a joy to help youth understand the way that the mind and the body are connected and to learn skills that will assist in their overall wellness. I also have experience working with gender expansive youth and enjoy being a part of the gender journey with families. I prioritize connection and bringing myself into the room in order to facilitate comfort and rapport with my clients. I adapt how I work with clients based upon their age/developmental level and personality. I primarily utilize cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), behavior therapy (BT), and motivational interviewing (MI) techniques in session. I welcome clients with anxiety, depression, functional symptoms, sleep difficulties, behavior problems, gender fluidity, and medical illnesses to see if, together, we can promote your wellness.
