Introduction

Welcome! My name is Stacey Rowe. I am a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor in the state of Maryland. I obtained my BS in Psychology and a MA in Counseling from Bowie State University. My years as a former special education teacher for DC private schools, former executive coordinator for the Executive Director and Board of Directors, and a Community Coordinator for the DDA waivered consumers provided me with firsthand experience in seeing how children of color and people with varying needs have often been mislabeled and pathologized to think that they are inadequate. Since beginning my clinical work in 2012 I have had the pleasure to work with clients of all ages and from a variety of backgrounds, which has shaped my life’s mission in supporting others where they are in life. I am known lovingly to my community as Thee Hope Dealer. I believe that my years in the trenches and overcoming some of life’s toughest battles has given me the fortitude to stand along side you in your mission of finding your happiness.
