I specialize in working with young adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, and/or family/relationship issues. I ask a lot of reflective questions to challenge my clients in sessions and encourage clients to leave sessions with a goal and intention for the week (tasks to complete, things to work on, or behaviors & thoughts to keep track of). I like working with motivated clients who can be honest and stay true to themselves in sessions and are ready for change. I am a very flexible therapist, and want to meet you where you are at! I utilize CBT in my therapy practices which is the study based on our thought patterns and how to create more positive thinking. CBT addresses current thinking patterns, but also works on how they were created and negative core beliefs tied to them. Through this practice, trauma can also be uncovered and processed in sessions. My goal is to help you feel at peace again by processing the past and working towards your future at the same time.
