Hi! Looking for a therapist is not easy, great job taking the first step. Choosing someone to work with on issues of depression, anxiety, the addiction of loved ones, unexpected life changes, complex trauma, secondary trauma, not to mention life during a Pandemic is also no small feat. My approach is to create a safe and healing space for us to talk about and work through tough issues, to listen and hear your experience, to guide you to potential solutions and find ways of achieving your goals. I have 20 years of experience working with individuals facing all kinds of challenges and believe anything is possible. I'm grounded in the use of cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focus therapy, strength base therapy, behavioral activation, acceptance and commitment therapy, and motivational interviewing, Working together we will set goals, make a plan to meet those goals and develop healthy strategies when thing don't work they way you planed. We'll also laugh. You are not alone. My intention is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental, healing space allowing clients to explore their concerns, establish goals, and discover their strengths.
