Introduction

I believe it takes an immense amount of courage for one to ask for help. It is an honour to be trusted to walk beside you on this journey to healing. I provide a therapeutic space filled with peace, compassion and support for my clients. Together, we will work on identifying what is no longer providing purpose in your life whilst creating goals and a plan that works for you to make changes to decrease and possibly eliminate, these emotions and behaviours producing distress currently in your life.My style is relaxed, warm, open, engaging, occasionally humorous, and at all times respectful. My approach to counseling is caring, supportive, and genuine. My education and training is in Mental Health Treatment and Trauma Therapy, Trauma Informed Care and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT)n the form of Individual Therapy, Group Therapy, In Patient and Outpatient Therapy. Although,my emphasis is in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Behaviuoral Therapy (SFBT)I am also skilled in Motivational Interviewing (MI), Client-Centered approach, Mindfulness practice, and many more. I help treat many symptoms of mental illnesses to include Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, and loss. Additionally, I am a veteran of the United States Navy.
