Introduction

Dedman Counseling and Psychotherapy helps individuals achieve psychological health and emotional growth though compassionate and evidence-based clinical interventions. We incorporate a variety of evidence-based practices to help clients manage unhelpful thoughts or behaviors and heal from past painful experiences. Our goal is to nourish a person's inherent resilience and empower them to find their own path toward healing. It takes a tremendous amount of courage to seek help in pursuing a healthier and more fulfilling life. If you are ready to take that step we are honored to be here to support and empower you. Stefanie Dedman is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Tennessee with specialized training in the treatment of trauma, meeting the requirements to become a certified clinical trauma treatment specialist in 2020 and completing training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy in 2022. She completed her Master of Science in Social Work at the University of Tennessee where she focused on evidence-based interpersonal practice, and completed her bachelor degree in music therapy at Converse College in South Carolina.
