Introduction

I am a compassionate and highly dedicated therapist with a specialization in working with men, women, and young adults navigating recovery from relational, attachment, and family-of-origin trauma, addiction, and co-occurring mental health disorders. I am committed to understanding and addressing the unique needs of each individual, recognizing the profound impact that trauma can have on self-esteem, emotion regulation, interpersonal relationships, and overall functioning. Through a client-centered, empathetic approach, I empower clients to recognize the impact of their past on present patterns and behaviors, process their experiences, develop resilience, and build the necessary skills for sustainable healing. I foster a supportive and safe therapeutic environment that promotes personal growth and long-term well-being. I am also committed to supporting individuals in recovery from or impacted by the adverse effects of addiction, as well as those affected by depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship conflicts, and life stressors. I understand the importance of effective balance and self-care in the healing process and work with clients to promote self-advocacy, establish healthy boundaries, and prioritize their needs. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), and a trained EMDR provider. I hold a master’s degree in clinical counseling from Alvernia University. I have extensive experience providing individual, group, and family therapy, and specialize in working with men, women, and young adults affected by co-occurring trauma, addiction, and mental health disorders. I integrate a variety of evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), solution-focused and mindfulness-based techniques, assisting clients in recognizing and addressing presenting maladaptive thought and behavior patterns, while facilitating positive, adaptive change.
