Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who earned a Bachelor's of Social Work from Eastern Mennonite University and a Master’s of Social Work from the University of Southern California. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced complex trauma, including those in traditional foster care placements and independent living placements. I have foundational training in EMDR and TF-CBT to support this trauma work. I also also appreciate working with adults who are in transitional life phases and are looking to break intergenerational cycles. One special practice area I engage in is work with children and adolescents who have sexual trauma as well as those who have sexual behavior problems. Additionally, I offer running therapy. Running Therapy combines running coaching and talk therapy. First developed by Dr. Kostrubala in the 1970’s, this model provides an alternative to the office setting and is demonstrated to augment the benefits of traditional counseling alone for many symptoms including those related to depression and anxiety. Outside of providing therapeutic services, I enjoy being outdoors, yoga, crocheting, napping, eating brunch, and spending time with my family, although finding balance in life is an ongoing area of growth as I'm human too!
