I am passionate about helping mamas and their partners heal and grow as they walk through challenges. I collaborate with my clients to ensure we are pursuing their goals and desires for therapy. After experiencing difficulty and discouragement in my own life, I understand how challenging life can be. I have had the privilege to experience healing myself and walk with others through their growth journey. I received my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University with a specialization in Medical Family Therapy. I completed my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Seattle Pacific University with a minor in Individual and Family Development. In addition to private practice, I have worked at Seattle Children's Hospital in the cancer care unit. I am well versed in the medical community and have found this to be highly beneficial while collaborating with other medical providers. I am a trained Doula which has given me the opportunity to better understand the birthing process and the many different experiences that people have in pregnancy and postpartum. I have also spent time working with homeless women who are pregnant and postpartum. I have learned a tremendous amount from all of my clients. People close to me would say that I am a bit of an old soul who enjoys a slow pace in life. I enjoy the small things such as cooking dinner, reading with a cup of coffee or walking in our neighborhood park. Outside of the therapy room, you will find me and my husband chasing around our young daughter as she adventures through this world.
