Hi! My name is Stephanie Rodenberg-Lewis and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (#80542), a Registered Play Therapist (#T5389), a National Certified Counselor (#1098222) and a Certified School Counselor. I am the founder of Collective Hope Counseling, PLLC. I love working with children and teens, especially with anxiety, trauma, and coping skills. I also have a passion for working with adults with a history of anxiety, depression, and trauma. In addition, as a person with a chronic illness, I feel I can understand and empathize with my clients with chronic illness. I am trauma-informed and trained in EMDR. As a trauma survivor, I understand what an important step it is to seek out healing from your own trauma. From children to adults, I am here to help you on your journey. My approach in therapy is client centered with a focus on mind and body connection, confronting negative beliefs, and equipping clients with improved coping skills. I received my Masters Degree in Counseling from University of Houston-Victoria. I have additional training in play therapy, sand tray therapy and am a trainer in trauma-informed care. I’ve been in education for the past 15 years both as a teacher and school counselor. I am married with three grown children and currently reside in Richmond, TX. In my free time I enjoy singing, reading and spending time with family. I also do a great deal of advocacy work in the type 1 diabetic community as an individual living with type 1 diabetes since 1984.
