I have over 20 years of experience working in a variety of mental health settings including private practice, psychiatric hospital, psychiatric day programs, and nursing home. We will work together to develop treatment goals to suit your needs as I utilize a variety of therapy styles including CBT, Mindfulness, Psychodynamic Therapies, Culturally Sensitive, Individual, Family and Marital Therapy, Strength-Based. My specialties include, but are not limited to, mood disorders, dual diagnosis, life transitions, grief. I have also completed at RYT 200hour training in Psychotherapeutic Yoga so components of yoga, breathwork and mindfulness can be incorporated as additional coping strategies. In addition, I have lived abroad in India and travelled extensively in Asia. Having had this experience living in another country as an expat has given me a valuable perspective on cultural diversity, cultural awareness and the challenges that repatriation can bring. I bring a down to earth and warm approach to our sessions and look forward to helping you.
