Introduction

Dr. Bisgaier is a mental health expert who gets it. Whatever you may think, you are not broken (at least not any more than the rest of us). Being a human being is hard. Period. I help people with minds who won't give them a break take control of their lives and find workable ways of navigating them. I am down-to-earth, easy going, compassionate, and straight forward. I utilize and integrate evidence-based treatment that treats you with respect and uses your own experience and wisdom combined with my knowledge and expertise to find a path forward. Dr. Bisgaier has extensive experience and training working with anxiety, OCD, depression, chronic health issues, and substance use. I am the President of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science, an adjunct professor at Widener University's Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology, an active member of IOCDF and ADAA, lead trainings and workshops for other professionals, and love this job. My primary therapeutic orientation is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (a process-based Cognitive Behavioral, Humanistic, and Existential therapy), which I integrate, as appropriate, with numerous benchmark interventions, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Dr. Bisgaier is licensed in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and is able to practice with clients in 40 other states via telehealth.
