Discovery Counseling & Wellness exists to help guide you in the process of discovering yourself. In each of us there is strength and value. We believe in the power that you have within yourself to discover who you are and tell your story. Your past problems, trauma, and circumstances do not have to define who you are. You have the right to define yourself. We simply want to come alongside you in your journey to discover who you are and want to be. My name is Steven C. Land, I am the owner and counselor at Discovery Counseling & Wellness Center. I am Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina. I chose counseling because I believe in the power of a person's story. I love to hear your story and desire to help you reframe it in a way that empowers you to be the best version of yourself. I approach counseling on an individual basis. I learn about you, your strengths, and areas for growth. Based on our exploration of those things, I develop a plan built specifically for you to achieve your goals. I believe that you are the expert on you, and I am simply a guide to help you in the journey. I hope that I can come alongside you in your path to healing and growing.
