Introduction

You are or your child is someone who finds yourself in a constant state of “fight, flight, freeze or fawn” and are tired of feeling overwhelmed. Therapy is here to help people of all ages to incorporate new tools into their life so that they can break out of that long-held pattern. Sometimes the tools we have aren’t working. Sometimes we need new tools. Or sometimes the tools we have just need to be sharpened. I’ll provide you with options for choosing the most effective strategies for you to live your best life. As your therapist, my intention is to provide a connection that allows you to find meaning in your life. Feel like you can't live like this anymore but have a difficult time asking for help with alcohol or addictions? Whether you were taught it's weak to ask for help, you have difficulty trusting others, or you were taught not to feel or express emotions, I'm here for you. Maybe the grief you're feeling seems too overwhelming for your friends or family to relate. You're walking around in a cloud and wondering how everyone else can live a normal life when yours seems to have stopped with the death of a loved one. It's okay to ask for help. Our human experience involves discovering our gifts as well as feeling content with who we are and where we’re at. I help clients explore ways to find this connection in their lives by setting boundaries, learning new coping skills, and to use self-compassion to grow. It took a lot of courage to get here. You've made the first step toward having more peace and less anxiety in your life. When you're ready to take the next step, I'll be here to help. Reach out today for a free 15-minute consultation to see if we're a good fit for each other. Also see my profile on: https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/therapists/jennifer-keiser-surprise-az/1126917
