Susan Elliott Blashka is a licensed professional clinical counselor who believes that every individual, couple, and family has a story that can be changed by making different choices. She partners with her clients to help them explore the options and tools available to them. Areas of focus include relationships (couples counseling, divorce, and family dynamics), life transitions and uncertainty, parenting, school and work challenges, and the anxiety and depression that often accompany these and other issues. Having spent years in the corporate and nonprofit worlds, Susan also is an excellent sounding board for career decisions. She is real and genuine with her clients—ranging from adolescents to older adults—and sessions with her are just as likely to include laughter as they are tears. Susan treats each client with respect while asking tough questions that lead to productive conversations.
