Introduction

Greetings! I am originally from California but I’ve lived in Birmingham for over 30 years. My credentials include earning certifications as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and I’m also a professional licensure supervisor. In 2013 I finished advanced training and supervision to become certified to present Brené Brown’s powerful message of ‘courage, compassion and connection’. Over more than 25 years I have offered mental health counseling, supervision, training and crisis interventions while directing the student counseling center at UAB and in private practice associated with Trinity Counseling in Vestavia Hills, Alabama. Since 2015, Lifespan Integration (LI) has been the most life-changing intervention I’ve ever experienced. I was the first professional in Alabama to offer this powerful trauma therapy. LI has been nothing less than a miracle for me personally and for my clients professionally. In 2019 I earned my LI certification. Over the years I have been truly excited and grateful to have the opportunity to experience LI, assist with local training programs and to introduce this amazing transformative intervention in Alabama.
