Introduction

Welcome! I am a behavioral health clinician with over 20 years of experience assisting individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma as well as struggles related to life changes such as divorce, parenting, addiction, job change, retirement, marriage and empty-nest. My approach to therapy is based on my philosophy that incorporates identifying your struggles and strengths and identifying a plan to reduce struggles and increase strengths. Together, we look at: resilience, passion, truth, recovery, forgiveness, hope, balance, awareness, fun/recreation, spirituality, financial, productivity, love/relationships, service to others, health and learning/growing. Do you struggle with your how you feel about your body? Eat when you feel intense emotions? My clinical focus is assisting women struggling with over-eating, Binge Eating Disorder (BED), negative body image, healing your relationship with food and recovery from gastric sleeve or bypass surgery. Many women have discovered the GLP-1 medications (Wegovy, Zepbound, etc.) and have had a huge success with weight loss (me too!) but do not heal their relationship with food, and this may cause you to regain after you stop the medication. The medication is a tool....let me help you with the healing!!!! I can assist with understanding hormones and how they play a significant part in how we feel and function in our lives. Women as young as 30 begin to loose estrogen, progesterone and testosterone and this can show up as anxiety, irritability, low sex drive, infertility and depression. There is hope to feel better! Let me help you figure out if this may be part of the puzzle! We can work together with other providers, such as your primary care doctor and/or holistic practitioner. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral (DBT) Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) approaches as well as psycho-education. I can work with you if you live in New Hampshire or Massachusetts if you are utilizing insurance. I am currently working on licensure in North Carolina. If you are not using insurance and are interested in my coaching programs, I can work with you in ANY location!
