I believe many of us will go through times in our lives that feel like too much to navigate on our own. In those times, it can be helpful to have someone listen nonjudgmentally, explore why it feels like too much, and encourage positive change, resilience, and healthy relationships. My primary goal is to provide space for you to be heard, seen, understood and know that you are not alone in your struggles (because we seldom are)! I will work to help create a relationship that feels safe for you to ask important questions and engage in exploration that facilitates new insight. I would be honored to serve as a witness to your growth. I work with teens & adults. I have experience working with intimate relationships, life transitions, and parenting issues. I am employed at Julie Ballew, LCPC, LLC as a license-eligible counselor (PCLC). Julie Ballew, PhD, LCPC is my licensed supervisor who oversees all of my clinical work. Insurance billing, if any, is done under her name and license. My style is warm, informal, nonjudgmental, and honest. The theories that inform my practice are person-centered, emotion focused, mindfulness, and choice theory - always taking into consideration your comfort level, needs, and pace. Unfortunately, I am not able to accept Medicaid clients at this time.
