I have been in practice for over 10 years and specialize in working with families after trauma and loss. Certified in EMDR, TF-CBT, and offering play, sand tray, and experiential therapies. Recognized by the State of Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Board Approved Supervisor. EMDRIA Approved Consultant for licensed therapists seeking certification in EMDR. I am pleased to welcome Susannah Parkin, LMSW, who brings a wealth of experience and compassion. Her approach values a framework of empathy, curiosity, and respect. She is trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). In addition to being a clinician, she is a researcher and has worked in depression, psychotherapy, and suicide prevention. Susannah believes that a genuine relationship between a therapist and client can be a component of healing and catalyst for change.
