I received my undergraduate degree from Austin College in Sherman, Texas in 2015 and my graduate degree from the Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis in 2017. In addition to my education and experience, I am also trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). My therapeutic approach is supportive, strengths-based, and client-centered, and I believe in working collaboratively with clients to achieve their goals. I have a strong emphasis on CBT and TF-CBT, as well as utilizing ACT and EMDR when appropriate. Whether you prefer in-person or online sessions, I am here to provide a safe and supportive environment for you to overcome challenges and achieve personal growth. Why I Help First Responder Workers As a therapist, I have a deep respect and admiration for those who dedicate their lives to helping others. That's why I specialize in working with first responder workers such as teachers, nurses, social workers, and therapists. These individuals often experience high levels of stress, burnout, and compassion fatigue due to the demanding nature of their work. I believe that those who help others deserve to be helped as well. Through my work with first responder workers, I have seen the incredible resilience and strength that they possess, but I have also seen the toll that their work can take on their mental and emotional well-being. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive space for these individuals to process their experiences, develop coping skills, and practice self-care. By taking care of themselves, first responder workers can continue to make a positive impact in their communities and in the lives of those they serve. If you are a first responder worker and are looking for support, I am here to help. Please don't hesitate to reach out for more information or to schedule a session.
