Introduction

I value the importance of promoting self-care among individuals, couples, and families. Those who experience, or are at risk of developing any symptoms of depression, anxiety, and illness related to emotional distress. I focus on promoting a positive environment, one that enables others to thrive, focusing on educating families and making a difference in their lives. I see the counseling process as an alliance between client and therapist and consider the clients as the experts on their lives. From a young age, I learned to advocate for myself and broke away from the general path of my peers. Coming from a marginalized family myself, moving to a different country, learning a new language, and having an economic disadvantage, adapting was not easy. But through hard work and dedication, I was able to succeed. Now, it’s my time to help others reach their successful story. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor – Associate Supervised by Richard Salcido, LPC-S. I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Education and graduated with a Master's Degree of Science in Mental Health Counseling from UTEP’s Education Program, CACREP Accredited. HABLO ESPAÑOL
