Introduction

Hello there! I'm Tailynn, MSW, LMSW - your friendly nonbinary social worker and I'm delighted to meet you! Based in sunny Phoenix, AZ, I've had the incredible privilege of supporting individuals and communities on their journey towards wellness and stability. My experience with LGBT+ and neurodivergent folks has spanned over 5 years as I continue my educational and professional work as a holistic, strengths-based, and trauma-informed social worker. My journey in mental health advocacy and social work began with a passion for making a positive impact on folks navigating systemic issues and mental health, and it's led me to some truly fulfilling experiences. I’ve worked with folks with various intersectional identities, such as LGBT+, neurodivergence, college students and others facing significant life transitions, veterans, and individuals diagnosed with serious mental illnesses (SMI) communities. As a therapist, I utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and crisis intervention, and continue to train in other forms of interventions. In my free time, you may see me taking on adventures and traveling for weekend road trips, cooking and baking, and tapping into my creative spirit. I am a huge lover of music, art, video games, and anything that makes me laugh. I look forward to working with you soon!
