Introduction

Tallibah Powell is the Founder and Owner of InPowerHer Counseling. She is an Afro-Caribbean Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed to practice in New Jersey, New York and Connecticut. Tallibah earned her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work with a Minor in Women and Gender Studies, followed by a Master’s in Clinical Social Work with a focus on Violence Against Women and Children, both from Rutgers University. With extensive experience in providing support to adults across various settings, including inpatient hospitals, non-profit organizations, private practice, and managed care. Tallibah has cultivated a deep understanding of the challenges faced by her clients. Her work is dedicated to promoting, protecting, and empowering the well-being of women. By blending a variety of therapeutic approaches, she offers tailored support for women experiencing anxiety, depression, interpersonal issues, the pressure of cultural influences, and caregiver burnout. Tallibah’s compassionate and holistic approach fosters a nurturing environment where women can explore their feelings and regain their strength.
