I work with kids, teens, couples, families and adult women. I approach therapy from an attachment-based lens and use play therapy techniques with children. My heart is to help families and individuals struggling with and navigating phase of life transitions, anxiety and depression, divorce adjustment, behavior issues, and attachment wounds. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Trevecca Nazarene University. I hold professional memberships with the American Counseling Association and American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy. I am supervised by Summer Curwen, LMFT (License #1196) while I pursue licensure in the state of TN. Family has been incredibly important to me throughout my life. The family I grew up in taught me the importance of compassion, empathy, communication, and caring for one another. When I was in middle school, my family went through the process of adoption, and welcomed two new younger brothers into our home. The blessings and trials of adoption were life changing for me. Because of this process, my heart and passion for helping children and families throughout the adoption process grew immensely. My values of adoption, family, compassion, empathy, and caring for others, have played a role in driving me to be a counselor to help others. I believe that each person is created intentionally by God and should be seen as a whole individual in the context of their relationships. Contact me for appointments and availability.
