Introduction

Dr. Tamar Hammer has been a licensed Psychologist in the State of New Jersey since 2005. She has worked predominantly in the private practice setting. Dr. Hammer strives to create a warm and accepting environment in which to foster growth and assist her patients in reaching their therapeutic goals. Her approach is goal directed and she relies heavily upon Cognitive-Behavioral strategies to aid her clients in gaining greater understanding of the relationship that exists between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
