Therapy is a deep, evolving process—our work together takes time. I help you live fully as yourself, and if you don’t yet know what that means, we will discover it together. Healing isn’t one-size-fits-all, and therapy is just one part of the journey. This process may feel unfamiliar or even frustrating if you're used to a more traditional, Eurocentric approach to care. You are the creator of your life. You deserve a deep connection with yourself. You deserve tools that truly work for you—not just ones that sound good on paper. Together, we will use the healing power of authentic connection to navigate your challenges with honesty and care. I will never work harder than you, but I will always be truthful. Are you struggling with boundaries, self-imposed expectations, exhaustion, or the feeling of never being “enough”? Do you feel stuck, frozen, or overwhelmed by life’s demands? If you’re having difficulty navigating relationships, parenting, major (or minor) life transitions, or simply finding clarity in your path, there is a way to reorient yourself. You can learn to make decisions from a place of confidence and reconnect with meaning in your life and relationships. It’s easy to lose yourself when you’re burning the candle at both ends. In our work together, we will create space for vulnerability, profound realizations, uninhibited emotions—and plenty of laughter. My Approach: "If you have come here to help me, you are wasting your time. But if you have come because your liberation is bound up with mine, then let us work together." — Lilla Watson My work is anti-racist and decolonized, grounded in integrative psychotherapy that honors the power of connection through a mind-body somatic approach. I bring a multidisciplinary, multimodal lens, drawing from a range of practices that support healing beyond Eurocentric frameworks. How do you find healing and grounding outside of traditional Western processes? What does growth and liberation look like when you recognize yourself as the expert of your own lived experience? I specialize in perinatal and postpartum transitions and have nearly a decade of experience supporting clients through grief, loss, identity exploration, and major life transitions. You can explore my offerings at the bottom of this page. About me: My name is Tania, and I am, first and foremost, a creative human—a visual artist, community herbalist, and practitioner of functional movement and embodiment. I believe in decolonizing the therapeutic space, honoring both the wisdom of lived experience and the healing power of relationship. I am not perfect, and I may not be the right fit for everyone, but I see the unfolding of our therapeutic relationship as a platform for relational awareness and self-discovery. I am committed to reflexivity in my practice, continuously deconstructing the frameworks I was taught while also drawing strength from my cultural and ancestral wisdom. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Washington, specializing in mental helath & community organization. I also hold an M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction, along with a Waldorf High School Certification from Sunbridge Institute, deepening my understanding of education, learning processes, and holistic approaches to development and healing. My training includes certifications in: - Somatic Attachment Therapy - Grief & Loss (adult, child, & perinatal) - Hospice & Palliative Care - School Social Work - Perinatal Mental Health - Lactation Education - Trauma-Informed Birth Support - Trauma-Informed Yoga & Breathwork - Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies I deeply value these teachings and integrate an embodied approach with psychoeducation in our work together.
