Hi, my name is Taylor Bittner and I am from Fort Collins, CO. I am happy to live in such a vibrant town with my husband and our dog. I view therapy as a collaborative effort to build a relationship with a foundation of trust, safety, and empowerment. I hold the belief that only when we feel safe can we begin to heal. Therefore, as we work together, I will ensure a space that is secure and nonjudgmental, allowing you to lead the way as needed. We will develop a personalized treatment plan utilizing a toolbox of different counseling models, including person-centered therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and more. My goal is to empower my clients to feel a sense of safety and resilience that overflows from the therapeutic relationship to other aspects of life. I have a sustained desire to help others, and because of this passion I have a background in several different roles which have prepared me for our work together. I have spent time working with adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities as well as working with the families of children with developmental delays as an Early Intervention Service Coordinator.
