I believe that therapy is a lot like going to a gym where you are working with a personal trainer so that you reengage certain muscles that you might have lost along the way, and want to use again in your day to day life. I will collaborate with you to develop the skills you need to get from point to point b, tune into how your body and mind work together, and find who you are now. My approach is anchored in helping you build self-compassion to embrace yourself and understand the barriers preventing you from becoming the person you want to be. I work with individuals who are 12 and up desiring support for their depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, PTSD or want to explore more fully the life transitions they are in. My work with you will combine my background in exposure therapy, DBT, attachment theory, polyvagal theory and somatic support, and modern formats of trauma support such as parts work.
