“The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination.” I am a licensed clinical social worker with experience working with individuals and families. I accept new patients (ages 18+) in NC, FL, TX, and CA. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, and career challenges. My therapeutic style is a holistic approach with evidence based treatments (EBT) that are tailored to the presenting concern, personal history, and individual strengths. I am a therapist who talks during session, often providing feedback and perspective, while encouraging you to develop your own hypotheses and insights. You are the expert in you, while I serve as your guide in developing a deeper understanding of yourself. During the first few sessions, both short term and long term goals will be discussed to ensure focus and progress.
