I have worked in community mental health and social service agencies providing program management and design, advocacy, case management, parenting skills support, counseling, and group therapy to adults, teens, children and families. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oregon. I have been in private practice for over 20 years providing play therapy, individual adult psychotherapy, adolescent counseling, couples therapy, parent consultation, as well as clinical and business consultation to other therapists. I pursued a career as a therapist because I felt a natural inclination to help people and to connect to the human experience that is both beautiful and heart wrenching. I work with clients to find their inner resources and strength, create healthier connections, heal from trauma, gain new skills for anxiety, learn self care that emphasizes self compassion and also explore how they got to where they are now in both conscious and unconscious ways. I love this work.
