Thomas Roslak is an LMFT residing in West Hollywood, and works with all individuals living in California. He has worked in residential treatment, community mental health, private practice, and public school settings focusing on the individualized need of each person. People who choose to work with Thomas are oftentimes artists, musicians, and creative people impacted by anxiety, depression, life transitions, addiction, identity and self-esteem. Thomas utilizes a person-centered approach that truly focuses on the individual’s needs. You will work with Thomas to identify goals for treatment and we will focus on strengths to change issues that may not be serving you. Originally from New York, Thomas incorporates a sensitive yet direct approach. Thomas finds that using an Existential lens focusing on your purpose and meaning in life can be helpful in identifying and working towards your goals. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques will be used to asses and modify thoughts/actions and Narrative techniques can be used to rewrite or reframe your experiences in order to best suite your current mindset to define the new you. Thomas also has the unique perspective of working with creative people of diverse backgrounds. He holds a BA in Music Education from the Berklee College of Music and was a professional musician for over a decade. Currently Thomas is seeing all people through Telehealth services as a way to provide and safe and effective treatment during the time of global pandemic.
