Therapy is a safe space for people to work through life’s challenges and learn new skills. It should be just challenging enough to know you’re getting the work done but rewarding enough to keep you coming back. For this reason, We strive to have work with clients be practical and down to earth, while also being able to have fun and find the humor in things when it’s needed and appropriate. Using a variety of evidence-based approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Client Centered Therapy, and Sandtray Therapy, we help develop individualized & customized treatment to best meet your needs and preferences. As parents ourselves, we all enjoy working with other parents and caregivers in therapy, which can include parent coaching around different challenges or family situations that arise. We have professional experience with foster care and adoption, and are Certified Facilitators for a model called “Circle of Security” parenting.
